In the summer of 2019, I took a 10-week course, offered by The Royal Conservatory in Canada, titled Teaching Elementary Piano. The course was a wonderful chance to explore my own teaching and learn about the principles of teaching piano promoted by The Royal Conservatory. I continue to attend seminars and conferences to improve my teaching. During the 2019-20 year, I will be working to obtain certification from the Music Teachers National Association.
